The Northern Illinois Synod has officially recommended and your council has voted to accept Deacon Cheryl as our Interim Minister to lead us through the process of calling a new pastor.
Deacon Cheryl will continue serving the congregation at this time to ensure that worship and critical ministries of the congregation continue in this time of transition. This arrangement came about upon the recommendation of Bishop Stacie Fidlar. Important Information regarding the next steps in calling the next pastor: The next step in the Call Process will be to form a Call Committee. The Call Committee, according to the congregation constitution is to be made up of seven members, appointed by the Congregation Council. If you are interested in being considered to serve on the Call Committee, please download the call committee form and return it to the Church Office or to Council President Steve Larsen.
